Informational USD quotes with their source and observation time.
Supported scope
The backend supports Kraken and CoinGecko for exact mainnet BTC, ETH, TRX and the two registered USDT assets. USD only; test assets and arbitrary currency pairs are unsupported. USDT is not automatically treated as one dollar.
Reading a quote
Always check asset, price, source name, provider time, retrieval time and stale status. Fetching an old price again does not make it fresh. If all eligible quotes are expired, the result explicitly has stale=true.
Fresh quotes take precedence over stale ones, followed by configured priority and source time. No eligible quote means unavailable pricing, not a zero price.
Organization settings
Provider settings, refresh interval, maximum age, priority and enabled state belong to the organization. Changes use the current version; disabled providers immediately leave selection. A separate server process fetches updates.
This feature is not integrated into the current console. Quote-read and provider-management rights are separate and are not granted automatically.
Usage limits
A quote is not accounting revaluation, an executable exchange rate or Workflow/signing authority. Prices do not change the Ledger or guarantee an amount obtainable in a market.
